Choose a Turquoise Ring by Shape and Setting
Start with the detail you want to see on your hand: a blue-green center stone, a narrow inlay band, or a coordinated bridal stack. These three designs offer different ways to wear turquoise:
Compare the stone placement as well as the color: a turquoise center gives a different look from a clear center with turquoise accents. Check the selected material and available size before choosing. For a stack, consider the combined band width and use our ring size guide for the intended finger.
Turquoise Ring Materials and Care
A turquoise ring can bring a quiet touch of blue to everyday clothes or become the focal point of a larger Western stack. Start with its construction: a raised center stone, a narrow inlay and a broad band each sit differently on the hand. The metal and stone details belong to the individual design, so compare the selected option as well as the photograph.
In sterling silver styles, the metal contains 92.5% silver. Silver can darken as tarnish develops, while an intentionally darkened finish can make engraved recesses stand out. Keep abrasive polishing away from turquoise, plated surfaces and decorative darkening. A silver-colored ring is not necessarily sterling silver; steel, brass and plated finishes have their own care requirements.
Natural turquoise varies in blue-green tone and in the amount and pattern of its darker matrix. Those differences can give a stone its character, but neither a uniform color nor visible veining proves that a stone is natural or untreated. For a closer look at stone construction, read our inlay and center-stone comparison.
Put rings on after applying lotions or perfume, and remove them before swimming, cleaning or activities that expose them to knocks. Wipe gently after wear and store pieces separately in a soft pouch. Avoid steam, ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals around turquoise. Our turquoise jewelry care guide explains cleaning and storage in more detail.

Questions Before You Choose
Are these turquoise rings made with genuine natural stones?
Natural turquoise is used in selected designs. Stone construction and metal vary by ring, so check the specifications for your chosen style. A turquoise inlay can look different from a single center stone, and color or matrix alone does not establish authenticity.
How do I choose the right ring size for wide western bands?
A wide band can feel snugger than a narrow ring in the same size. Have the intended finger measured with a sizer of similar width, and consider the combined width if you plan to stack rings. Use our ring size guide rather than automatically adding a full size. See the ring size guide.
